I'm not sure if this is the correct forum but I didn't see another place to ask it. I have had other players ask me, and I'm curious myself about what is needed to run a dedicated server. I would like to know the requirements for the computer and what kind of internet connection you would need, and some other basic things. Or if it is posted somewhere you could just give us a link. Then I can also send other players here if they ask about it.

As far as the computer requirements, they are not high. Some are hosting on 600 MHz machines running Linux distros. I have run servers on OS X with a meager machine. If you have a fairly modern computer, you probably have plenty of power.
As for connections, more is definitely better. I wouldn't try on any kind of dialup. Cable seems to do just fine, and if you are beyond that level, you're all set. Wireless routers aren't ideal, but can work. Lag can be worse via wireless.
Now, for the how to part... it depends on the operating system you are running. Look for a "readme" file in your ThinkTanks folder. It has the basics in there. If you need help beyond that, post here or on the other PTT2. Help is available.
One issue once you get a server running is port forwarding your router so it's visible to others. For that you might check out portforward.com
