So, I was talking with Ben (he played as benblue and tons of other names), who is basically the only TT player I've kept in contact with, and we were talking about the good old times scripting for TT...
I've been trying to go to PTT2 for ages but the forums have been "Moving to a cloud" for ages.. Some googling and found this forum (which is also almost dead :( )
Anyways, how's everybody doing?
PS: I find it funny how it's the first time I've used this nickname in like ages, but I guess this is the only one you guys recognize :)
PS2: It might sound weird, but I've been trying to collect anything I'm able to from stuff I did while scripting/modding TT - since I lost everything earlier than mid-2008 due to a virus + format... Stuff like ACASv1, ACASv2 source, Mission Loader source, all my maps and lovely maze mods, hell even the "drawing on an invisible wall" mod is gone... Stuff like what was hosted at the PTT2 ftp server (which is gone) - does anybody have anything by me that's older than 2008 they could upload? Even screenshots of my mods would probably be better than nothing :) Thanks!
I wish I still had the first mods I did with TT, like the maze on a flattened base terrain with a ghost rock and a secret base - I've got so many fond memories of that :(
Also, is that full archive we had of PTT1 still being hosted anywhere? I'd really love to go through it all, but the Internet Wayback Machine's version is missing so much stuff. http://supra.planetthinktanks2.com/archives/index.asp does not work any more...

Hi AC, Its good to hear from you. I will dig around as I'm sure I have some of your maps ect.. The source for most of your scripts were never released so I think you may be in trouble there. If you ever get the itch to play and lost your installer, here is a fixed installer that includes phobs backup server and installs already registered.
Nice to hear from you too :) Yeah, I know that I never did release most of my stuff open-sourced so there's loads of stuff (the best, oldest stuff) I'll never be able to find again. Still, There's no harm in trying to see what I can find. At least I learned a lesson in taking regular backups of stuff - my 13 year old me didn't do that and it sucks.
I was actually thinking of releasing most stuff I have right now open-sourced since I have no big use for it anymore, but as I said, I've lost most stuff prior to mid-2008...
I don't really need that installer tough, but thanks for the link. I still have my post-2008 backups of ThinkTanks including the source (but no maps) to stuff like:
IPJoiner, ACASv3, TWLoading, AntiDemos, CustomizableChat, SpecialCharsRemover, Wingman's script + fixed timer hud and pinghud (I decompiled Wingman's script by hand), Roo's Gladiator, Save Thy King, decompiled versions of all ThinkTanks' .gui files, Daz's CTF + ACAS_CTF, etc.
Also, is there nobody else around? Is ThinkTanks this dead?
EDIT: Look at this http://thebestofthinktanks.webs.com/mods.htm
I'd probably pay if anyone could find those "non-downloadable" mods for me (altough I think I never gave them out) - all those fond memories :(
Does anyone know how to contact supra? He's the one who had the archive of PTT1 but it's gone from PTT2.
