You can forward the code for the master and we would be able to use this as a last ditch effort and we can use it for when a master is down for any length of time , but I'm afraid if we don't get to use this master server address
$pref::Master0 = "2:master.garagegames.com:28002"; we will be dead in the water. We do have a data center one of our players works at and could host but it won't solve the address problem.

On our sites are links to purchase Think Tanks and we as a community try to get demo players into the sites to buy the game. Without these new players the game will never be the same. New players do come and old ones always return as this game is so good and addicting. We also know many players from IA bought the stand alone version. Can you please see what you can do to use this address that comes with the installer? This is real important for the survival of this magnificent game.

We also believe with little work this game can be upgraded and generate some money. Most of the IA Browser version , plus many scripts and game types our community has built could be integrated for a "Think Tanks 2". Game types such as CTF, KOTH (king of the hill) and Rollerball. Another fine script "never ending download bar" . lets players see files that are being loaded when they join a non stock server. This was forgotten when they released the original Think Tanks.

Looks like Torque may help us out with the master.

Unfortunately, we don't actually own the game. It's confusing from the surface, but the actual owner of the game is InstantAction,Inc. We broke away from the company after they closed down InstantAction, Inc back in November. But, I'd like to do what I can to help. I'm guessing that there isn't any legal issue with us hosting the master server.

We're looking into it, but it all depends on what IA's legal department has to say.

Yes, talking is good. They could have thrown all of the game IP's in the vault like most companies seem to do when they have something but no one to work on it! They're at least open to working with us.
